Phasmophobia: Photos, prizes and awards

In addition to the basic contract, asking you to identify the ghost present on the scene, you have three other objectives, all secondary. Among them, it is sometimes asked to take a picture of the ghost, but there are many other things that can be taken on picture, always with the aim of earning maximum money in Phasmophobia.

For example, the fingerprints of ghosts should be photographed, as should the bones you find while exploring. You can also take pictures of possessed objects that you come across, or even footprints. All this allows you to have bonus money, not insignificant if the photo reaches three stars.

What things can be photographed in Phasmophobia?

As we told you, several things can be photographed. Here they are :

• The ghost.
• Fingerprints.
• Dirty water.
• Items owned.
• A ghostly interaction.
• A footprint.
• Bone.

Note that not all of these things happen in the same game. But you can, at a minimum, get a bone and a footprint, if you get it right.

Photo rewards

Now let’s get serious. If you’re wondering why stars are under photos, in your journal, or just why the rewards are never the same, it’s simply because the price varies depending on how far you are from the goal. So the closer you are, the more money you will get.

Here is the scale of the photos, which is counted in points. The more points (stars in the diary) you have, the better the dollar reward will be.

Ghost

• Less than 4 meters → 100 (3 stars)
• Between 4 and 8 meters → 85 (2 stars)
• More than 8 meters → 70 (1 star)

Fingerprints

• Less than five feet → 50
• Between five feet and eight meters → 30
• More than 8 meters → 15

Dirty water

• Less than five feet → 35
• Between five feet and eight meters → 25
• More than 8 meters → 15

Dirty water can be obtained by opening the various taps in the house.

Items owned

• Less than five feet → 60
• Between five feet and eight meters → 45
• More than 8 meters → 30

Do not hesitate to take a possessed object, also called cursed objects, before using them.

Ghostly Interaction

• Less than five feet → 40
• Between five feet and eight meters → 30
• More than 8 meters → 20

Footprint

• Less than five feet → 40
• Between five feet and eight meters → 30
• More than 8 meters → 20

Put some salt in the room the ghost is in, wait a bit and you should have a footprint, which you can take a picture of.

Bone

• Less than five feet → 70
• Between five feet and eight meters → 55
• More than 8 meters → 40

You can also pick up the bone, to get extra bonus money.

Finally, before concluding, know that you can (must) take a picture of the body of a partner who has been attacked by the ghost. This gives him a few more dollars, and allows him to recover some of the money he had spent to buy the equipment.

• Less than five feet → 30
• Between five feet and eight meters → 20
• More than 8 meters → 10

To find out how many dollars you will collect at the end of the game (before leaving the contract and returning to base), simply calculate the points obtained (according to the stars), and compare the following scale:

• Between 1 and 49 points → $10
• Between 50 and 99 points → $15
• Between 100 and 199 points → $20
• Between 200 and 299 points → $25
• Between 300 and 399 points → $30
• Between 400 and 499 points → $35
• Between 500 and 580 points → $40

In other words, knowing which photo is worth how much, just calculate the number of stars you got (you can do it through the newspaper) to know how much you will be awarded.
