(CercleFinance.com) – Pherecydes Pharma announces that the Chinese patent office has granted it a patent for its anti-Pseudomonas aeruginosa phages – Pseudomonas aeruginosa being one of the six deadliest germs.
‘This 2nd patent issued in China – after the one obtained last December for its anti-Staphylococcus aureus phages – gives the company protection until the end of 2034 on this vast market’, indicates the company.
Guy-Charles Fanneau de La Horie, Chairman of the Management Board of Pherecydes Pharma, specifies that this obtaining, the second in China in a few weeks “is the fruit of intense work by the intellectual property teams”.
