Focus on Philippe Lacheau. Here are the 3 films of his filmography best rated by AlloCiné spectators!

Since 2013, they have accompanied us to the cinema: la bande à Fifi, revealed by the program Le Grand journal, and successfully passed from the small to the big screen. For 10 years, the group has been launched at breakneck speed, chaining film after film and success after success.

What are your favorite movies from the band? Here is your ranking.

1 – Alibi.com 2 (2023) – 4/5

Alibi.com n°1 was Philippe Lacheau’s most successful film to date, with more than 3.6 million viewers. Record beaten with its sequel, which is now close to 4 million admissions!

The film is certainly one of the successes of this beginning of the year. It is in 2nd place among the films with the most admissions in 2023, behind Asterix and Obelix, Canet version.

In Alibi.com 2, we find the rhythm and the succession of gags which make the popularity of the band. For these new adventures, Gérard Jugnot, Didier Bourdon, Nathalie Baye and Arielle Dombasle are there.

The pitch: After closing his agency Alibi.com and promising Flo that he would never lie to her again, Greg’s new life has become quiet, too quiet… Not for long!

When he decides to propose to Flo in marriage, Greg is up against the wall and must resolve to introduce his family. But between her crook father and her ex-charm movie actress mother, it is very likely to ruin her future union.

He therefore has no choice but to reopen his agency with his former accomplices for an ultimate Alibi and to find more presentable false parents…

The film is still in theaters.

2 – Nicky Larson and Cupid’s Perfume (2019) – 3.8/5

Expected at the turn by fans with this adaptation of the cult anime Nicky Larson, Philippe Lacheau has won his bet. Very faithful to the original material, the film is a tasty mix between the style of the Fifi gang and the devastating humor of the Stallion of Shinjuku and his friends.

In addition, the action scenes are very successful and honor the memorable franchise created by the Japanese Tsukasa Hojo. The story obviously follows Nicky Larson, the best of bodyguards and outstanding private detective.

He is called for a high-risk mission: to recover Cupid’s perfume, a perfume that would make anyone who uses it irresistible. With an average score of 3.8/5 out of nearly 10,000 ratings, viewers really liked the film and fans are calling for a sequel. Philippe Lacheau, if you read us…

3 – Babysitting (2014) – 3.7/5

For his first feature film as a director, Philippe Lacheau collaborates with Nicolas Benamou and offers us Babysitting, a crazy comedy carried by his friends from the Fifi gang. Winner of the Special Jury Prize and the Audience Prize at the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Film Festival, the film dusts off French comedy.

Released in April 2014, the feature film shot largely in found-footage totaled 2.3 million admissions at the box office and became the most profitable French film of the year with a profitability rate of 586% according to a survey by BFM Business.

In line with the American comedy Project X, Babysitting follows Franck (Lacheau), who on the evening of his 30th birthday finds himself having to babysit Rémy, the unbearable son of Marc, his boss (Gérard Jugnot).

The next morning, Marc and his wife (Clotilde Courau) discover that Rémy and Franck have disappeared. In the middle of their ransacked house, the police found a camera. They discover hallucinated the images shot during the evening…

The success is such that a year and a half later, Philippe Lacheau, Alice David, Tarek Boudali, Vincent Desagnat and Julien Arruti fly to Brazil for Babysitting 2. And the success is once again there since the film recorded 3.2 million spectators and obtained an average of 3.4/5 in spectator rating on AlloCiné.

Two new films by the band will soon arrive in cinemas: 3 days max by Tarek Boudali (fall 2023), and the animated film Dog and Cat, directed by Reem Kherici (to be dated).
