This Thursday was the all-out battle at Philips. The Dutch manufacturer presented, a few weeks after the CES, these next novelties to come. The opportunity for the firm to unveil its new The One television, these new Oled models or Bluetooth speakers and wireless headphones designed for sport. The firm also unveiled several novelties in the field of multiroom audio with its Fidelio range.

Three new products from the audio range were presented by TP Vision, the company managing the Philips brand: the Philips Fidelio FB1 soundbar, the Philips Fidelio FW1 subwoofer and the Philips Fidelio FS1 satellite speaker. Obviously, these three devices are designed to work best with each other, but can also be used independently.

The main element of this triptych is obviously the new Philips Fidelio FB1 soundbar. It is a 7.1.2 soundbar which therefore incorporates 7 channels positioned horizontally, two speakers facing upwards for compatibility with Dolby Atmos and bass speakers. In total, Philips announces that there are no less than 15 speakers with a total power of 310 W. The soundbar will be available in France next June at a price of 800 euros.

Ambilight compatible subwoofer and speakers

The Philips Fidelio FW1 is a wireless subwoofer with a large eight-inch (20 cm) diameter speaker with two passive membranes. Enough to offer a power of 200 W. The subwoofer will also be available next June at a price of 800 euros.

Finally, the Philips Fidelio FS1 satellite speakers have the particularity of being compatible with the Ambilight lighting system of Philips televisions thanks to synchronizable LEDs. Enough to extend the brightness of the television to other places in the room to prolong the immersion. The speaker can be used solo, in stereo, or synced with the soundbar and subwoofer to create a 7.1.4 system. It has a tweeter, a midrange speaker and a woofer. It is capable of delivering a total power of 60 W. The Philips Fidelio FS1 speaker will be available next September at a price of 300 euros per unit.

Of course, these three new Philips Fidelio devices can easily work with each other thanks to automatic detection. They are also compatible with the DTS Play-Fi system for easy speaker management in multiroom mode and high-resolution audio transmission.
