A dog who made his masters see all the colors

Nemo, then just two years old, was adopted by the Macrons in August 2017. If the presidential couple went to pick him up at the SPA refuge in Hermeray, located near Rambouillet in the Yvelines, the animal had stayed at the refuge in Tulle for a long time, without finding a foster family. Initially named Marin, this male Labrador and griffin cross had been renamed Nemo in homage to the famous captain of 20,000 leagues under the sea by Jules Verne, one of the president’s favorite authors. Since then, the hairball lives its life in the corridors of the Elysée and, like any pet, shows its owners green and not ripe. Peeing in the middle of an important meeting, escaping from the Elysée Palace or even eating the head of state’s shoes, Nemo spared nothing from the presidential couple.
