Selena Gomez made a glamorous arrival for the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The singer is expected this Saturday, May 18 to walk the prestigious red carpet for the screening of the film Emilia Pérez, directed by Jacques Audiard and in official competition. A musical comedy that plunges us into the heart of the Mexican cartels, against the backdrop of transgender transition, in which she opposite actress Zoe Saldana. But, before climbing the steps, the 31-year-old actress wanted to enjoy a sunny shopping trip on the Côte d’Azur. In a chic and casual total white look, Selena Gomez went to a Mango store where she made some purchases.
Wearing an ensemble consisting of a cardigan with gold buttons and a knitted skirt from the Self-Portrait brand, she took the time to greet her fans. On her feet, she opted for a pair of patent leather pumps with black and white buckles, from the Roger Vivier brand. To complete her look, she carried a mini bag, Aspinal of London and round sunglasses. But while she was seen on Friday May 17 at the entrance to the Mariott Hotel, Selena Gomez was somewhat surprised by the wind. Seeing her skirt rise, she played Marilyn Monroe in spite of herself, holding on as best she could to the fabric that was flying away. An image which is reminiscent of the emblematic white dress lifted by the blast of air from the metro, worn by the cinema icon, in the film entitled Seven years of reflectiondirected by Billy Wilder, released in 1995.

On April 12, Meghan Markle was freely inspired by her at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge, in Wellington, Florida, to support her husband, Prince Harry, who was playing polo. On this occasion, she opted for a sumptuous cream dress with a bare back and a cutout in the center, as well as a long scarf collar that could be tied at the side or at the back. A modernized version of Marilyn Monroe’s outfit, signed Heidi Merrick, which she accessorized with XXL “Santa Barbara” sunglasses and a Valentino shoulder bag. Two days later, it was Zendaya who did not hesitate to revisit the famous dress during the promotion of the film Challengers In Milan. She had set her sights on an immaculate short skater dress, fitted at the waist and embellished with a zip neckline. A perfect outfit that she matched with a pair of white pumps.
