PHOTO – Pauline Ducruet coordinated with her grandmother Maguy: real twins!

An exceptional relationship. Pauline Ducruet, the daughter of Stéphanie de Monaco, often delights Internet users with new content on social networks. Whether it’s an outing to a restaurant, popular trends that she has adopted, a trip to the sea or even moments of complicity that she shares with those close to her: the posts and stories that she broadcasts on her Instagram account are varied. Monday April 1, the designer – who will celebrate her 30th birthday on May 4 – shared two tender photos in stories, in which she poses alongside her paternal grandmother, Marguerite Ducruet, affectionately nicknamed Maguy by the members of her clan. In these photos, the two women are real twins in appearance, as Louis Ducruet’s sister pointed out in the caption: “Twinning with my Grandma.”

Photographed in an Alter Designs boutique (the eco-responsible and unisex clothing brand launched in 2018 by Pauline Ducruet), they opted for the same jacket in a pink ocher shade. Their smile testifies to the osmosis between them, and there is no doubt that this grandmother is very proud of her granddaughter. Maguy, as pointed out Hello! this Tuesday, April 2, is a fervent supporter of the young designer. Although she tends to avoid photographers’ flashes, she has already publicly supported her career. In 2019, when Daniel Ducruet’s daughter launched her first collection, she was there for her. As part of the show Story: extraordinary lives (M6), Pauline Ducruet had, the same year, tender words for her grandmother: “She is one of the only people [dans ma vie], with mom, who knows everything, to whom I tell everything. She, dad and mom, the three of them, that’s my core.”

Maguy, a grandmother who adores her grandchildren (who love her)

At the beginning of January, the magazine Point of view dedicated an article to Marguerite Ducruet, an octogenarian whom her grandchildren, Michael, Louis, Pauline and Linoué, fill with joy. As proof, in his residence located in Cap-d’Ail, on the Monaco border, there are numerous photographs in which they pose. Our colleagues had specified that the four, without exception, always had an affectionate word to say about him. “Maguy, my father’s mother, is the perfect sweet granny who listens, is kind and attentive.revealed Michael, the eldest of the siblings, to the weekly. She has the art of preparing very good snacks!”
