A couple as united as ever. This Saturday, March 23, the principality of Monaco went to disco for its traditional Rose Ball. After Bollywood last year, the decor – imagined by designer Christian Louboutin, in collaboration with Princess Caroline of Monaco, Françoise Dumas and François Marcadet – transported the guests and the princely family of Monaco directly into the 1970s with its balls faceted and fuchsia pink everywhere.
For the occasion, the princely family was adorned with sequins for the women and chic tuxedos for the men. Among its members, was Alexandra of Hanover, the youngest daughter of Caroline of Monaco. The 24-year-old was on the arm of her long-time companion, Ben-Sylvester Strautmann, and radiated in a very chic black satin dress with a large bow at the waist. She wore her long hair down with a middle part, dangling earrings and had her bag and shoes matched to her dress. Her lover was very elegant in a black tuxedo and white pocket square.

Alexandra de Hanover and Ben-Sylvester Strautmann, a couple that lasts
For several months, Alexandra de Hanover has been making numerous appearances on the Rock, but not only that, since we have also been able to see her in fashion shows, such as during the last Fashion Week in Paris. As most of the time for several years, she is accompanied, most of the time, by Ben-Sylvester Strautmann during these events. Originally from Lower Saxony, in the north-west of Germany, the latter is the heir of a rich family which made its fortune in the agricultural machinery trade. He lives in Monaco, where he grew up, since his parents came to settle there when he was little. Measuring 1.96 meters, he plays in the basketball team of the principality of Monaco. He is also an occasional DJ in some very select clubs in the region. Although they have been together since 2016, the lovebirds only made their first public appearance a year later, during the knockout stages of the Champions League, before making their first official outing as a couple during the Bal de la Rose in Monaco in 2018. Six years later, the couple still seems as fulfilled and in love.
