In a new Instagram publication dated this Sunday, May 19, the one who became the mother of a boy last January spoke about her new life as a mother: “It’s been too long since I posted, and I admit that since giving birth I had a lot of trouble with the image my mirror sent me! It’s difficult to see your body change radically, even though it’s for the most beautiful reason in the world!“, she said, before paying tribute to her little César, who brings her “immense happiness” in her everyday life. With her new busy daily life, Sophie Tapie naturally had less time for herself. “We found ourselves propelled into this new life as parents, very alone because our friends and families are geographically far from us“, explained Bernard Tapie’s daughter.
And the person concerned continued: “I am very proud of the way in which side B and I coped, despite the difficult nights, the long days without him training tirelessly for rugby with the feeling that nothing was rewarded despite all the work put in, having the impression of being alone in the world with my newborn in a town where we had almost no one, with this anxiety of not doing well enough, without someone to reassure us.” Despite the difficulties, the young mother assumes her choices: “We are not the only ones in this case, life is made of more or less difficult choices, and putting aside my previous life was not easy, but if I did it without trembling it is because that I know how strong we are, and how much the game is worth it“, she estimated.

As she explained in her Instagram post, Sophie Tapie had to live with the numerous trips of her companion Baptiste Germain, “sometimes at indecent hours“, as she mentioned. If she was not always able to be there to support him, she did her best.
