Godmother and co-presenter of the Top Model International world final ceremony on March 9, 2024 at Sporting de Monte-Carlo, Adriana Karembeu was present alongside actor Ricky Whittle in Monaco. Sumptuous in a pink and gold sequinned slit dress, the 52-year-old model presents this 20th edition which will bring together 175 finalists from 23 nationalities on the stage of the Salle des Etoiles.
For the occasion, the presenter couple is accompanied by a troupe of dancers to host the show. “They will come join us on stage and we will do several numbers to entertain the audience“, slipped the Briton, who did not wish to reveal more to keep the surprise. Very elegant in a tuxedo accessorized with a bow tie, Ricky Whittle is known for having played the character of Calvin Valentin in 2006, one of of the main characters of the very popular British soap Hollyoaks. Subsequently, he appeared from 2012 in American programs Single Ladies And NCIS: Special Investigations. A few years later, we could find him in Mistresses with Alyssa Milano as well as in The 100. Advice from Adriana Karembeu
Adriana Karembeu, who also went through this environment and this type of competition, had a few words for the participants: “Today, this weekend, I am very very happy, it is an honor, and I know how important it is for you and for me too because this competition is the 20th edition . First of all, congratulations because you have made it this far. I think it was a complicated path, perhaps easier for others, and perhaps it will be the day of your life, the day that will change your destiny. First of all you have to really be yourself, it may sound like a cliché but it’s not a cliché. You must not want to be like your neighbor whom you admire, you must remain yourself and chart your own path. Have fun but still think it’s a serious thing” confided Nina’s mother to the candidates.
Her advice is worth gold since Adriana Karembeu has paraded for many prestigious brands such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint-Laurent, Thierry Mugler, Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood, Paco Rabanne and Roberto Cavalli.
