Elsa Hosk has responded to criticism of her naked baby photos on Instagram. For the Swedish model, this controversy is irrelevant. It also condemns those who speak of child pornography.
“It’s not child pornography”. On September 14, model Elsa Hosk posted a series of adorable photos of herself and her baby in New York City. Taken by her boyfriend, Tom Daily, the photos show the new mother and her seven-month-old daughter admiring the incredible view of the “Big Apple” from their hotel room. With in caption: “Let me tell you about the town where your father and I fell in love.”
If these photos had everything to melt Internet users, Elsa Hosk has faced a wave of criticism. And for good reason, in the pictures, she and her baby are completely naked. In comments, Internet users have criticized him for endangering little Tuulikki. According to them, the Swedish top model exposes her child to perverts and pedophiles, who roam online. Some even accused her of not respecting the consent of her daughter, who later could blame her mother for posting these photos.
Faced with the controversy, the 32-year-old woman decided to remove the photos from her Instagram account. In story, she nevertheless wanted to react to criticism. The model wanted to make things clear. Because according to her, “Posting a photo with her naked baby is not child pornography”. She writes : “It’s something normal, which happens every day. Worldwide. And if I decide to publish these photos, it’s my choice. If someone sick on the internet thinks it’s porn, that’s their problem, not mine. I refuse to live my life being afraid of what this person might do on the internet. “

“A healthy relationship with nudity”
Elsa Hosk goes on to explain that for her, being naked with her baby is something beautiful. “It’s one of my favorite things. Skin to skin. It produces hormones that help us have an even stronger bond ”, she declares. She says that in Sweden, she grew up being able to walk naked on the beach, at home. “We weren’t taught that our bodies were something to hide, for fear of what another person might think. I believe that it allowed me to maintain a healthy relationship with my body and nudity ”, she confides. Before adding: “I never felt uncomfortable being naked. If you have a baby, nudity is part of your daily life. These photos taken by my boyfriend represented a special moment. If you think it’s pornography, you should be ashamed of yourself, not me. ” The supermodel ensures that her baby is safe, in her arms, “Where it should be”.
Elsa Hosk regularly shares photos of her daughter Tuulikki on social media. Last April, she had already been attacked by Internet users for having published a picture of her breastfeeding. Critics who had, here too, made him jump. “I find it interesting how many messages I get from men who feel offended when I post a breastfeeding photo… Why is the most natural thing so offensive to you?
