PHOTOS – Prince William and Queen Camilla united at Royal Ascot: the duo all smiles despite the challenges

Members of the Windsor clan parade for this second day of Royal Ascot. While King Charles III had accompanied Queen Camilla the day before, it is Prince William who finds himself alongside his mother-in-law this Wednesday, June 19. In the carriage which took them to the racecourse, the heir and the wife of Charles III were very complicit. Proof that their relationship has evolved, but also of their unfailing support despite the trials they are going through at the moment. Sitting next to the Earl and Countess of Halifax, the duo had smiles on their faces. After leading senior royal dignitaries at the Commonwealth Day ceremony in March, Prince William and Queen Camilla are teaming up again for a must-see event for the Windsors.

After greeting the crowd from their carriage, they went down to meet the other members of the royal family present on site. Kate Middleton’s husband notably spent time with his cousin Zara Tindall. As for Queen Camilla, she was able to join her sister, Annabel Eliott. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice of York were present at the event with their mother Sarah Ferguson. Sophie from Edinburgh arrived on the arm of her husband, Prince Edward, dressed in white, a nice nod to their 25th wedding anniversary which they are celebrating that day. A lovely family reunion on the lawn of the famous horse races.

Kate Middleton’s parents present at Royal Ascot

This Wednesday, June 19, the appearance of Carole and Michael Middleton at Royal Ascot created a surprise. Indeed, this is the first time that Kate Middleton’s parents have appeared in public since the announcement of their daughter’s cancer. The last time Carole Middleton was seen was when she drove Prince William’s wife to Windsor last March. Since the start of Kate Middleton’s illness, her parents have remained very present to support her.
