Physint: a new PlayStation exclusive in the spirit of Metal Gear Solid announced by Hideo Kojima!

You remember the clues which preceded the formalization of the State of Play this Wednesday evening? In addition to a reference to Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, which delighted us with its new trailer, there was mention of the fact that Hideo Kojima was going to make his dream come true. Well, we now understand the meaning of this sentence, because the director of Kojima Productions and Hermen Hulst, at the head of PlayStation Studios and who partly presented the show, had a big announcement to conclude the presentation: Physint.

Yes, not happy to already have DS2 for 2025 on PS5 and OD for an indefinite period on Xbox Series X|S and PC, Kojima Productions is already working on its fourth game. Fans of Metal Gear Solid have reason to rejoice, because the creator intends to offer us an action-espionage game next-gen ! This will be an original license currently in preparation and the actual development of which will only begin after Death Stranding 2: On The Beach has been closed. But the most interesting thing is that the creator speaks of this project as the culmination of his careerwhose 40th anniversary it will celebrate in 2026.

He plans to use cutting-edge technologies and talents from around the world to create his game, which will be both interactive and a film in terms of appearance, storyline, theme, casting, actingaesthetics and sound effects. The ambition is to transcend the barrier between video games and cinema, suffice to say that the bet is risky and risks dividing. And the icing on the cake, the video above was filmed in the premises of Columbia Picturesthe final view from the heights having served to reveal the title of this production. On the other hand, it is difficult to know if the PS5 will still be relevant when Physint is released…

If you play on PC, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is sold for €35.99 at the house of Gamesplanet.
