Legend:

Get in please! A horse escapes in the middle of the night in Sydney and runs to the train platform. We will probably never know what the animal’s goal was. Although the picture is from April 5th, it only made headlines this week.

Legend:

On Tuesday, a Delta rocket will take off from Florida for the last time, carrying US spy satellites into space. The rocket is considered one of the most powerful in the world – but will apparently be replaced by a cheaper model in the future.

A cheeky ring-tailed lemur on Thursday at the Wroclaw Zoo in Poland. The tail of these primates is up to 62 centimeters long – and is therefore significantly longer than the torso.

Wonosobo in Central Java, Indonesia is hosting its annual hot air balloon festival this week. The balloons are made of paper. They are filled with gas that is created by burning coconut shells. The balloons are raised to an average height of 75 to 150 meters and cannot be released.
