Pierre et Vacances confident after a growing first half – 04/23/2024 at 7:03 p.m.


The Pierre et Vacances-Center Parcs group confirmed its annual objectives on Tuesday after publishing a turnover up 5% in the first half of its delayed financial year, to 778.6 million euros.

As the group considers it “more representative of its activity” to exclude the IFRS16 and IFRS11 accounting standards, the turnover reached 822.2 million euros with them (+1.7%).

The European number one in leisure residences Pierre et Vacances, which has initiated a strategy of refocusing on its tourist activities, generated a turnover of 767.5 million euros in this sector in the first half (from October to March).

By brand, Center Parcs’ turnover was unchanged at €494.9 million, penalized by the partial unavailability of the cottages at Domaine des Hauts de Bruyères and Domaine des Bois Francs, under renovation over the half-year.

Pierre et Vacances reached a turnover of 158.8 million euros (+7.2%), with a stable average sales price (-0.3%) and an increase in the occupancy rate of 6, 2 points, at 67.4%.

Adagio urban residences recorded a turnover of 105.8 million euros, up 6.6%, driven by an increase in average sales prices (+6.5%).

Over the entire financial year, the group “expects growth in activity in line with its objectives and is confident about the strong increase in its operational profitability”, according to the press release.
