Pierre Garnier “sad” as the end of the Star Academy tour approaches: “With my sidekicks we are going to see each other less”

At the age of 22, the young Pierre Garnier is preparing to enter the big leagues! After winning the last edition of the famous TF1 telecrochet, the interpreter of “Those we were” begins a new stage in his career: the release of a first solo album, entitled Each second. However, while everything seems to be smiling on Pierre Garnier, the Norman spoke with melancholy about the end of a chapter… Currently on tour with his comrades from season 11 of Star Ac’, the big winner returned to the imminent end of this series of concerts for 20 minutes. “Even if, afterwards, there is everything else that happens for me and I am very impatient to sing my solo songs, I have been immersed in the Star Academy atmosphere since October, it’s a little bit of my life at the moment . Telling myself that it’s almost the end, that with my sidekicks we’re going to see each other less than before even though we’ve been seeing each other every day for months… I’m quite nostalgic by nature, so, obviously, from let’s stop something, I’m a little sad”explains the singer with a hoarse voice.

A month before the end of the tour, Pierre Garnier is already anticipating the absence of his friends, whom he has never really left since his arrival at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. However, if nostalgia already seems to be felt, excitement fortunately takes over as a particular date approaches: that of the Accor Arena – Bercy that Pierre, Julien, Helena, Lénie, Axel, Candice and Djebril are preparing to fill on June 8. “Bercy is a legendary room and a large room. We feel like we’re nearing the end of the tour, it’s almost the final show in a way”, indicates the young man to our colleagues at 20minutes. “I think we will be very happy to do this concert, that it will be moving, with a little nostalgia. It will be filmed a bit like a prime. There will be a few weeks left and then it will be the end for us, a new cycle of Star Academy will begin.”

A new chapter for Pierre Garnier

Broadcast live on TF1, the Parisian show is far from marking the end for the ex-academician, quite the contrary! Launched the day before this long-awaited concert, Each second will also be accompanied by his own tour, planned for January. A frantic rhythm which nevertheless does not seem to frighten the young musician. “I’m looking forward to it, it will definitely be different from the “Star Ac” tour. I will be able to sing my songs, organize things the way I want, the public will come for my songs and me. It’s another exercise. (…) Singing at L’Olympia less than a year after leaving “Star Academy” is crazy. I’m going to see my name in red letters on the facade… I’ve never been to see a concert there but I’m going to give one. I’m so happy”the young man rejoiced.
