Pierre Palmade accident: an investigation opened for “involuntary homicide”

According to concordant sources, the pregnant woman injured in the road accident involving comedian Pierre Palmade has lost her baby. An investigation for “homicide and involuntary injuries by driver resulting in total incapacity for work for more than three months” was entrusted to the Melun police station.

The public prosecutor of Melun announced on Saturday the opening of an investigation for homicide and involuntary injuries after the collision which involved the day before a vehicle driven by comedian Pierre Palmade on a road in Seine-et-Marne. Three other people were seriously injured in the vehicle hit by his car, including a child and a pregnant woman who lost her baby, according to the latest report delivered by the prosecutor, Jean-Michel Bourlès.

The investigation entrusted to the Melun police station

This investigation for “homicide and unintentional injuries by driver resulting in total incapacity for work for more than three months” was entrusted to the Melun police station, said Jean-Michel Bourlès. The days of Pierre Palmade, seriously affected, were no longer in danger on Saturday, according to his family.

According to the first elements of the investigation cited by the magistrate, the vehicle driven by Pierre Palmade collided, for an as yet undetermined reason, with the vehicle which was traveling in the opposite direction. An 80-year-old man was also slightly injured. He was in the third vehicle that hit the family car.
