While Pierre Palmade was taken into custody on Wednesday, five days after the serious road accident which he caused, two other individuals are being questioned by the police. The two men aged 33 and 34 are suspected of being the comedian’s passengers and of having fled after the accident.

This is one of the mysteries surrounding the Pierre Palmade affair which is about to be lifted. After the serious road accident, which occurred last Friday in Seine-et-Marne, two individuals managed to get out of the vehicle of the actor, at the origin of the pileup, and fled, without waiting for the arrival of the rescue.

This Wednesday, a 34-year-old man showed up at the Melun police station, said a police source. Already known to the police for drug trafficking, he was placed in police custody, like another individual, aged 33, arrested in the morning in Clichy in the Hauts-de-Seine. The second suspect is a man of Moroccan nationality, unknown to the police but who, according to information from Europe 1, was in an irregular situation on French territory.

Little doubt as to their presence on board Pierre Palmade’s vehicle

The police first sought to ensure that it was indeed the two passengers of Pierre Palmade at the time of this violent accident which injured three people including a 27-year-old pregnant woman who lost her baby. According to a source familiar with the matter, there is little doubt about the presence of these two men in the vehicle driven by the actor.

Their hearings must in particular make it possible to understand the reasons for their flight but also their journey after the accident or even what they were doing with Pierre Palmade when getting into the car. As a reminder, an investigation has been opened for homicide and involuntary injuries by a driver under the influence of narcotics. The comedian had tested positive for cocaine the day after the accident.
