Pietro Lombardi was quite surprised when Laura Maria Rypa told him that he would be a father again. His son Alessio didn’t understand the message at first.
Pietro Lombardi, 30, will be a father again. A message that made the singer fall from all clouds. Pietro and his girlfriend Laura Maria Rypa, 26, were having an argument and hadn’t been in touch for a few days when Laura suddenly called and tearfully told Pietro that they were having a child. Because Pietro didn’t want to believe the baby news, he had Laura send a photo of the pregnancy test as proof. What was initially a shock for the DSDS winner from 2011 now gives him the greatest pleasure, as he repeatedly makes clear in the joint podcast “Laura and Pietro – ON OFF”.

But how did Pietro’s son Alessio, 7, whom he has with singer Sarah Engels, 30, take the news. He now reveals that in the latest episode of the podcast: “At some point he came to me and I said to him: ‘Alessio, you’re getting a sibling’. Of course it’s difficult for him to understand at first, because he just got a sibling too . And now he suddenly gets another one,” says Pietro.
This refers to Sarah Engels’ daughter Solea, who was born in December 2021. Alessio then asked how his father meant it and Pietro answered: “‘Dad will have another child now, Laura is pregnant, and the child is also your brother.'”
Son Alessio is looking forward to his sibling
In the meantime, however, Alessio has understood the news: “Meanwhile he knows that he will be a big brother again. There is no better feeling than being able to tell his son that there is a little sibling coming.” Alessio then impressed his dad with the answer when he asked him if he wanted a sister or a brother. “‘Dad doesn’t matter, the main thing is healthy.’ As if he knew how difficult his start was.”
Alessio was born in 2015 with heart problems and had to be operated on a few hours after birth.
