On the occasion of the Future Games Show, Team17 presented us with a title as only they can do. Rhythm Royale Headbangers is shaping up to be an all-rhythm-based Battle Royale. Somewhat original concept in the world of BR but which does not stop there since Glee-Cheese has decided to stage pigeons for its game.
Each game, the title will challenge you to compete against 29 other pigeons in four rounds of increasingly intense mini-games. 23 in number for the launch, they will of course test your rhythm, but also your memory, your reflexes or even your reaction time.
It will be possible to collect delicious bread crumbs with each round, which will give you access to a multitude of outfits, customizable content or even taunts to celebrate your victories.
Finally, the game will be available in crossplay multiplayer, allowing you to play with friends, regardless of the chosen platform. Slated for release in 2023, Headbangers Rhythm Royale will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
