Like last year, it seems that nintendo does not take advantage of this period which promises to be loaded with video game announcements to communicate through one of its Direct. Indeed, after the furtive formalization ofEverybody’s 1-2 Switchit is now the turn of one of its other summer exclusives already unveiled to be entitled to its trailer, Pikmin 4.
Made official a long time ago, Pikmin 4 had been reannounced last September before being presented at the opening of the Nintendo Direct of February, revealing its main novelties that will be its main character Shepherdhis canine companion ochin and especially a new species of pikmine, that of ice. This new insight, which seems here narrated by David Krüger (the VF of Zavala In destiny and soon Hugo Kupka In Final Fantasy XVI), thus introduces the scenario which will make us go to the rescue of a rescue team which was itself at the base to find Olimar, the hero of previous episodes. Suffice to say that the pretext for this adventure is really far-fetched. We can therefore create our avatar, which will have to bring everyone back to the fold.
As for the rest, we should learn more by July 21, the release date of Pikmin 4 on Switch, which you can pre-order on Amazon at the price of 49.99 €.
