The excitement was great when on Sunday afternoon the rather special aircraft that had taken off in Germany suddenly landed in the water off the banks of Bregenz. So far it has been assumed that it was a crash. However, that was not the case, as the pilot, a 25-year-old German, now states. In reality, he would have ditched the machine in a controlled manner. Incidentally, the man – like his passenger – survived the ditching unscathed.
