US singer Pink (44) has been touring for many years and has experienced a lot during her countless performances. In Sydney, Australia, she had to interrupt a concert on her “Summer Carnival 2024” tour because a heavily pregnant woman went into labor. The radio presenter Kent Small (39) has a clip of the short break in the show published on TikTok.
Pink to expectant mother: “It’s going to be great”
“I feel like we shouldn’t be looking. Y’all, give her privacy,” the singer joked in the video, making sure the baby wasn’t already born in the stadium. “Wow, ‘Our Song’ was the one that made it,” Pink continued. She would have guessed that the contractions would start with songs like “Get the Party Started” or “Never Gonna Not Dance Again”.
Before continuing with the concert, she gave the expectant mother some encouraging words: “This is exciting. I don’t even know what to say. But we have to sing now. Good luck! It’s going to be great! You’re going to do great make.”
It’s not the first time a woman has gone into labor at a Pink concert. This also happened in Boston, America, last summer. According to media reports, the woman gave birth to a healthy boy in the hospital.
Pink is also coming to Germany in the summer
Pink has numerous other concerts scheduled in Australia and New Zealand in February and March. It will also come to Europe in the summer of 2024.
