At only 13, soon to be 14, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is leading a promising career. Revealed in The Haunting of Bly Manor by Mike Flanagan on Netflix, he currently holds one of the main roles in the series Son of a Critch and was recently spotted in The Sandman, still on Netflix. Above all, he gives the reply to Tom Hanks in Pinocchio by Robert Zemeckis.
It is he who lends his voice to the puppet. The actor was well acquainted with the work of the director thanks to films like Back to the future, Alone in the world Where Forrest Gumpbut playing under him exceeded all his expectations.
“I didn’t just record in my voice in a cubiclehe says. I was on set every day, behind the camera giving my lines. I could see all the technical maneuvers of Robert Zemeckis.
