Actress Margot Robbie (29, "Bombshell – The End of the Silence") is set to play the lead role in a Disney release of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, according to the American industry portal "The Hollywood Reporter". The project is a film independent of the previous five parts with Johnny Depp (57) alias Jack Sparrow and is intended to function as an independent story. "Birds of Prey" author Christina Hodson is the script.
