Pixel 9: Google would offer three different models

According to leaks relayed by the site 91Mobiles, Google is preparing to launch not one, not two, but three new models of Pixel 9 smartphones in 2024. This range including the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro would be accompanied by an XL version, thing which has not happened since the Pixel 5.

According to these indiscretions, the Pixel 9 would have a 6.03-inch screen, and a different design having already been the subject of speculation. This new series of smartphones would offer a flat frame, as well as an oblong photo block. Contrary to previous rumors, the Pixel 9 would only have two photo sensors on the back, which excludes the hypothesis of a telephoto lens, therefore reserved for the Pro versions. The dimensions given by this source are 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm, with a thickness of 12 mm including the photo block.

Regarding the Pro model, Google would opt for a 6.1-inch screen, guaranteeing an immersive experience while maintaining a comfortable grip. With three photo sensors, including the famous telephoto lens, users should once again benefit from a complete and versatile photophone.

The real surprise would be the launch of a Pixel 9 Pro XL, with an even larger 6.5-inch screen. This XL version would therefore target users looking for a comfortable display for content consumption.

The Pixel 9 series should also feature 15W Qi2 wireless charging technology, as well as the in-house Google Tensor G4 chip. Regarding the launch, rumors point to a possible presentation at the end of September or the beginning of October 2024, a calendar similar to previous generations.
