A year after their release, Google Pixel Buds A-Series established themselves as wireless headphones affordable and comfortable. But a few months after receiving an update, they had to deal with a problem that has only just been resolved.
This is an update that will have been particularly long overdue.
Google rectifies the bass problem of its Pixel Buds A-Series
In December 2021, the Mountain View firm deployed an update for its Pixel Buds A-Series. This was an opportunity to introduce various features, including the possibility of setting the bass with more freedom. Users could then adjust the bass in four levels (from -1 to +4) with options for several amplitudes. However, since the deployment of this update, many users have encountered various problems with the new bass slider.
Indeed, an unfortunate problem made the use of this bass slider particularly restrictive. This did not memorize your preferences and systematically returned to the default settings, forcing you to adjust your bass level each time. But good news, Google has officially rolled out an update to its Pixel A-Series (version 3.415) to fix bass issues.
For information, if this update is currently being deployed, it could still require a fortnight before reaching all users. Finally, for this to be applied to your Pixel Buds A-Series, note that you must have a device running Android 6 or a later version of the software.
