Google India responds to a question about how long fans will have to wait for the Pixel Watch 2 after the Made for Google event on October 4th.

- That would be just one day after the “Made for Google” event where the smartwatch is to be presented.

On October 4th, Google will host a “Made for Google” event to unveil Pixel devices. In addition to the Pixel 8 (Pro), it makes sense to also introduce the matching Pixel Watch 2. Google India is now announcing on X (formerly Twitter) that Indian fans no longer have to wait as long to watch after the show.
The Pixel Watch 2 will be sold in India exclusively through e-commerce provider Flipkart on October 5th. Since the “Made for Google” event only takes place in the evening due to the time difference in India, only the night passes before the smartwatch presented is available to Google fans. So the chances are good that the rest of the world won’t have to wait long for the clock either.
In addition to minor visual changes, you can expect innovations in technology and software with the Pixel Watch 2. Unlike its predecessor, a Snapdragon processor will be installed and WearOS 4 will be available as software.
