Strong momentum in 2022 across all Group businesses

For the 2022 financial year, PIZZORNO Environnement achieved a turnover of €226.9 million, up +8.9% compared to 2021. This performance is based on the dynamics of the Group’s two businesses.

Cleaning activity

grew by 7.5% to €174.8 million, driven by both an excellent contract renewal rate and the conquest of new territories. As such, 2022 was marked by the awarding and start-up (November 2022) of the largest collection contract in the Group’s history on behalf of the European Metropolis of Lille (€161 million over 7 years). The Group thus demonstrates its ability to respond effectively to the territorial challenges of local authorities and to develop in new geographical areas.

Treatment-Recovery activity

posted strong growth in turnover of 13.9% to €52.0 million over the financial year, driven, among other things, by the full takeover of operations at the Aboncourt site.

Furthermore, as part of the management of the Toulon UVE, the Zephire activity

recorded revenue of €30.5 million as of December 31, 2022, up 31.5%.

Prospects and development

2023, will benefit from the Group’s latest developments in terms of contract renewals, testifying to the trust placed in it by its customers:

• Contract for the collection of household waste, recyclable packaging, glass and green waste (operated in robotic side collection from 2026) for the Community of Communes of Sablons (Hauts de France) for a total amount of
  
  €19.6 million over 8 years;

• Contract for the collection of household waste and recyclable packaging, as well as the supply, maintenance and washing of collection containers for SIVED NG (PACA Region) for a total amount of €14.6 million over 2 years;

• Market for the collection of voluntary multi-material, glass and cardboard drop-off points for the Community of Communes of the Pays de Fayence (PACA Region) for a total amount of €1.5 million over 4 years;

• Operation of the transfer quay and the Môle waste collection center and obtaining the contract for the evacuation and unloading of non-hazardous waste from the Almanarre quay to the treatment sites on behalf of SITTOMAT (PACA region) for a total amount of €8.1 million over 4 years.

Thus, as of December 31, 2022, PIZZORNO Environnement benefits from a solid order book, including only firm orders, which amounts to €743 million.
