Plaisance: Fountaine Pajot in good shape and optimistic for 2024


(AOF) – Fountaine Pajot announced a turnover up 48% to 165 million euros in the first half. The ship manufacturer specifies that this very solid performance is driven by the acceleration of production rates and the success of the latest launches both in the catamaran segment (Aura 51 and Samana 59) and in the monohull segment (D41 and D470). . The current order portfolio “provides a solid basis for anticipating a 2023/24 year of strong growth,” the company adds.

“More than 5 million euros are dedicated to the development of new boats and more than 10 million euros to strengthening industrial capacities.”

The group maintains its international development trajectory with “84% of sales made from exports”. Europe “remains the main driver” with 38% of sales, followed by North America with 28% of sales and the major export markets at 11%. Finally, the Caribbean region represents 7% of sales and the French domestic market accounts for 16%.
