Plane carrying civilian paratroopers crashes in central Russia

A plane carrying civilian paratroopers crashed Sunday (October 10) in central Russia, the emergency ministry said, killing 15 people.

“Seven people were rescued, fifteen were found without sign of life”, the ministry announced on Telegram. The plane crashed at 8:23 a.m. (Paris time) in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The device, type L-410, was broken in two, according to images transmitted by the ministry. The seven survivors were hospitalized and one of them is found “In serious condition”, according to RIA Novosti.
