(CercleFinance.com) – Plastivaloire posted revenue of €339.3 million for its first half of 2021-22, down 9.1% year-on-year, but with growth of 11% between the first and second trimester.
The plastics processor indicates that inflationary pressures have led to cost increases which, although gradually passed on to selling prices, should have an impact of around three points on its gross margin for the first half, which will weigh on its EBITDA margin.
If it maintains its scenario of a return to growth in the second half, with an inverse seasonality compared to 2020-21, Plastivaloire warns that its EBITDA margin objective of 10% cannot be achieved for this financial year.
