Hi, this is Kenichi Sato. I wish you all a pleasant start to the year.

2022 has just begun, but there is something I would like to share with everyone.

Late last year, I resigned as CEO and President of PlatinumGames and named Vice President Atsushi Inaba as my successor.

I started as President of PlatinumGames in April 2016 with the goal of bringing smiles to all of our fans around the world. After forming a partnership with Tencent in December 2019, I opened a new office in Tokyo to expand our development team, and I was finally able to launch our first self-publishing businesses, which was a dream of my life. business for a long time, over time. Right now, I think PlatinumGames is ready to move forward into more innovative forms of gaming, so now is a better time than ever to hand over the reins to Inaba, who spearheaded the initiative to expand the creative output of the game. business for many years now.

In the future, I will always be involved in the business as an advisor, offering my help when needed. I want to sincerely thank everyone for all the support they have shown during my five years and eight months as President, and I hope that all of our fans will continue to support PlatinumGames under its new leadership.

As of this year, I serve as CEO and President of PlatinumGames. I consider it an honor to be entrusted with this position and I hope to use this opportunity to create new types of games that will reinforce what PlatinumGames stands for.
