Playing Diablo Immortal Early Is Possible, With Luck

A few days ago, Blizzard revealed the exact release time for Diablo Immortal on PC and mobile, June 2 at 7 p.m. in France. But as the article indicated, it is possible that some players will have access to the game in advance, as of June 1st, which is intriguing at first glance.

Select players will see Diablo Immortal appear on the Apple App Store and Google Play starting June 1 in the afternoon (Paris time). This is partly due to the nature of rolling out mobile games and the need to ensure a full and smooth launch of the mobile version of Diablo Immortal.

PezRadar, the Diablo community manager has provided some additional details on the subject, on the official Discord of Diablo Immortal.

This means that some players may start seeing the game appear in the mobile store on June 1 in the afternoon, more than 24 hours before the official release. It is not known which geographical areas and which players will be affected, as well as their number. There isn’t really a pre-download on mobile, so these players will be able to immediately launch the game, choose a server and create a character, then play. This does not affect PC-only players, who will normally be locked out until June 2 at 7 p.m.

Those who manage to gain access to Diablo Immortal can link their Battle.net account to their mobile account at this point, which should then allow them to play on PC ahead of time, at least according to the following answers from the community manager. Since all this has not yet been tested in practice, it is possible that it is blocking somewhere. Whether it’s because early access to the game is ultimately extremely rare, or due to a technical problem. So don’t count too much on it.

But if you absolutely want to play Diablo Immortal as soon as possible, and/or secure all the advantages you can with the day ahead of the competition, we advise you to closely monitor the store corresponding to your type of mobile at from Wednesday, June 1 afternoon. You might get lucky.
