Substitute Josip Drmic made the difference in the play-off duel against Bodö/Glimt in extra time and secured Dinamo Zagreb the Champions League ticket. In the 117th minute, the 30-year-old scored first to make it 3-1 and in the 120th minute, after a counterattack, he played for Peter Bockaj, who made it 4-1. Drmic came into play in the 82nd minute when the score was 2:1.

Dinamo had taken a 2-length lead in the 1st half through Mislav Orsic and Bruno Petkovic, who landed a glorious overhead kick. Albert Grönbaek put the Norwegian runners-up into extra time with a goal in the 70th minute (Bodö had won the first leg 1-0).

Rangers in the 2nd attempt in the CL

The Glasgow Rangers secured the ticket for the “premier class” thanks to a 1-0 win in Eindhoven. Thanks to the sole goalscorer Antonio Colak, the Scottish success also had a Croatian “touch”. Copenhagen also made it into the CL on Wednesday. A goalless draw in Trabzon was enough for the Danes after a 2-1 draw in the first leg.
