The invisible line between PlayStation and PC gaming is becoming increasingly blurred. It will continue like this – but PC players will have to wait a while for PS-exclusive games in the future. PlayStation boss Hermen Hulst has now revealed how long.
PlayStation games on PC: Hulst speaks plain language
Includes Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered some PlayStation exclusive games have already been released for the PC and announced. Future PC ports are also planned for PlayStation exclusives such as Sackboy, A Big Adventure and Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection.
These sporadic releases are a step in the right direction for many, including the PlayStation boss himself very happy with how the games performed on PC.
However, until now it was unclear how to proceed. In an interview with French YouTuber Julien Chièze, Hulst revealed that in the future it will be at least a year before PlayStation exclusives come to PC. An exception could be live service games. According to Hulst, these are a bit different because they depend on a strong community to get involved immediately. In the future, live service offerings could appear simultaneously for the PlayStation and the PC.

PlayStation: Ten live service games through 2026
Earlier this year, Sony confirmed that the company plans to Release ten live service games by the end of fiscal year 2026. It is not yet known how many of these will appear on the PC. If PlayStation follows the strategy of releasing these games for the console and the PC at the same time, then at least nobody has to wait (source: VGC).
