PlayStation Plus games of December 2022: the Mass Effect saga in the spotlight

Like every month, Sony has unveiled the games offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers at the Essential level. From December 6, 2022 to January 2, 2023, PlayStation 4 players will discover the legendary saga Mass Effect. PS5 players will be able to download the games Divine Knockout and Biomutant. Sony will announce the other games available to Top Tier, Extra and Premium subscribers later this month. The November games are available until December 5.

The saga Mass Effect is one of the most iconic space video game series of recent years. The first three episodes of the saga are collected and remastered in 4K UHD in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Players will then be able to don the suit of Commander Shepard in 2183 in order to travel the galaxy on different adventures. The opportunity for the oldest to take a dose of nostalgia and for the youngest to discover one of the most legendary endgame scenes in the history of video games. With reduced loading times and all the DLC integrated, the adventure is all the more beautiful, unfortunately only for PS4 subscribers.

PS5 owners will be entitled to two other games, also available on PS4. First of all Divine Knockout, a 3rd person fighting game exclusive to Sony consoles. This new project from the developers of Smith and Paladins offers a new form of platform fighting game, controlling 1 of the 10 gods offered in the 3rd person and in a 3D map. The goal is to knock out or kick out opponents in order to be the last one alive.

Also available for free is the open-world adventure game Biomutant. The player embodies a protagonist, master of kung fu in a post-apocalyptic world, who will have to reprogram his genetic structure to adapt to his environment.
