PlayStation unveils Project Q streaming device and new wireless headphones

If the Playstation Showcase of this Wednesday evening was above all dedicated to the games to come in the brand’s ecosystem, an announcement hardware still took place at the end of the presentation, just before the long segment revealing the gameplay of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. You remember the rumor of a portable console QLite from last month? Well, it wasn’t just empty words, because the accessory Project Q (not to be confused with the canceled game ofUbisoft) is a reality, introduced by Jim Ryan in a short video.

Project Q will therefore serve to stream via Wi-Fi the games installed on our PS5with the exception of productions intended for the PSVR 2and some more details about it were given via a communicated on the side of BusinessWire. As with the controller Backbone One – PlayStation Edition on mobiles, you will have to go through the application Remote Play to use it. It will be equipped withan 8-inch LCD screen, capable of up to 1080p resolution at 60 fpsand all the keys and features specific to the DualSenseincluding adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Project Q will be released at the end of the year, without further details. More details will be given to us in the coming months, including its price, which we hope will not be too high. Moreover, official wireless headphones will also be released, which can be used on both PS5 and PC, with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones. They will provide a lossless and low latency audio experience.

The PS5 and its other accessories are on sale on Amazon.
