In several Viennese districts, several traffic lights failed early on Thursday afternoon. The police asked road users to be careful – and had to regulate large intersections by hand.
How many traffic lights were affected by the failure, neither the executive nor the responsible municipal department was initially able to say. The reason, however, was quickly clear: according to MA 33, a power failure. Police spokeswoman Barbara Gass asked road users to drive carefully. Via Twitter, the executive asked to anticipate possible delays on the streets.
