“Plop, plop, wow!” Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy imitate their favorite sound effects from the Super Mario games

Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy and Keegan-Michael Key, who lend their voices to Nintendo heroes in Super Mario Bros, evoke this enchanting universe for AlloCiné.

Notice to Super Mario fans, this interview with the VO cast of the animated film will revive your nostalgic fiber!

AlloCiné met Chris Pratt (Mario), Charlie Day (Luigi), Anya Taylor-Joy (Peach) and Keegan-Michael Key (Toad)!

We submitted the artists to our Mario questionnaire in order to find out what was their favorite game, character, power or sound effect in the universe of the mustachioed plumber. As a reminder, the feature film is a collaboration between Nintendo and the Illumination studio (Moi, ugly and mean, All on stage).

The story introduces us to Mario and his brother Luigi, both plumbers. As they try to repair an underground pipe, they find themselves immersed in a new fairy world through a mysterious conduit. But when the two brothers are separated, Mario embarks on a hectic adventure to find Luigi.

In his quest, he can count on the help of the mushroom Toad, inhabitant of the Mushroom Kingdom, and the wise advice, in terms of combat techniques, of Princess Peach, a determined warrior at the head of the Kingdom. This is how Mario manages to mobilize his own forces to complete his mission.

Super Mario Bros, the movie hit theaters on April 5th.
