Thursday September 19 in Plus belle la vie, even more beautiful…
A couple reunites at the Mistral
Kilian gives Aya cycling lessons, but the young woman is terrified of getting on a two-wheeler. She throws the bike on the ground, sits on the sidewalk, then tells her ex-boyfriend: “I’m stuck, it’s not a question of bad will, it’s just impossible.”
Kilian tells her that if he has managed to overcome his administrative phobia, she can overcome her fear of cycling. He promises not to let her down and asks her to get back on the saddle. The young woman trusts him, then sets off on the road.
Eventually, Aya manages to ride her bike. As they bicker, their faces come closer, and they kiss. Kilian and Aya both seem pleased with how things are going. But will it last?
Zoe gives Ariane an ultimatum
In the early morning, Zoé discovers the fiery messages that Djawad sends to her mother. In an attempt to trap her, she suggests to her mother to go shopping with her in the morning, but Ariane makes her believe that she has an appointment with the ENT. However, she promises to spend the whole afternoon together.
A few hours later, Ariane joins Djawad on the cove. She tells him that her daughter knows about their relationship and that she is afraid it will ruin everything: “I want us to stop, and this time, we’re sticking to it.”
Against all odds, Djawad doesn’t try to make her change her mind, and even approves of the fact that this relationship is looking far too complicated. He confides in her: “I need something else. So, no hard feelings?”
Ariane seems a little offended by Djawad’s words. They kiss goodbye, then finally, they hug. Will the policewoman and the former thug really put an end to their recent love affair?
Ariane finds Zoé at the apartment. The latter informs her that she knows about Djawad, and she gets angry, telling her mother that it is not right to date someone with a criminal record, while they are in the middle of adoption proceedings.
Then, the teenager confides to her mother that she is afraid of losing her: “I don’t want us to break up. You have to choose between me and Djawad.” Ariane replies that she will never risk losing her a second time.
Barbara is about to sacrifice herself
Barbara is panicked by her interview with Vanessa (played on screen by Agathe de la Boulaye). She doesn’t know how to tell Thomas (played by Laurent Kérusoré) that he must give up his shares in the Mistral to this woman.
She asks Luna: “This is going too far. How did we get here?”. Luna answers him: “It’s either that or she’ll rat all four of us out.” Barbara confides in her friend that she wants to denounce herself, but Luna reminds her that it would have too many consequences for Yaël.
For her part, Blanche informs Eric that she is giving up the association. Eric is extremely surprised and disappointed by this announcement. The ex-policeman, now a security guard, does not understand why she and Luna admit defeat at the first hurdle.
He said to his friend: “What’s the matter? I sense that you haven’t been well for a few days.” Blanche is about to reveal everything to him, but finally, she answers at the last moment: “It’s just stress, it’ll be fine.”
At the police station, Samuel calls his colleagues from Milan to get an update on the case. They inform him that they found Kiros’ bank card in the hands of a homeless man. A passerby with a cap and sunglasses apparently gave it to him.
That’s not all, they also have confirmation that this person made the round trip from Milan to Marseille during the day. Samuel tells Jean-Paul that he is certain that this woman led them on a false trail. Will they go back to Luna?
At the same time, Barbara arrives at the Mistral and starts to crack. Thomas asks her what’s going on and Barbara confides in him: “I did something stupid. In fact, I yelled at Yaël last night.”. Thomas is surprised, he has the impression that his best friend is not telling him everything.
At the end of the day, Barbara thanks Thomas for being such a great friend. Then, she asks him to babysit Yaël, pretending that she is going to have a drink with her friend Jennifer (played on screen by actress Diane Dassigny). Just before leaving, she hugs her son and tells him that she loves him very much.
Intrigued by her behavior, Thomas follows her and discovers that she is going to the police station. He catches up with her immediately and asks her to tell him what is wrong. Barbara bursts into tears in her best friend’s arms, while Samuel witnesses the scene…
