“Plus belle la vie”: plot, casting, schedule… what we know about the return of the series on TF1

Finally ! After long months of waiting, More beautiful life is about to make its big comeback! Fans of the cult soap opera, broadcast on France 3 since 2004, will be able to find some of their favorite characters from January 8 from 1:40 p.m. on TF1.

A reunion that turns sour

La Une has just revealed in a press kit the very first plot of this new version. “A year after the collapse of the Mistral district, its former inhabitants had to start from scratch in a completely new district. New neighbors, new places and new habits… their lives slowly took a new start in the Panier,” perhaps we read.

The reunion of the inhabitants of Mistral will unfortunately quickly turn sour: “During the inauguration of Thomas, Kilian and Barbara’s new bar, Francesco collapses in front of the guests’ eyes. Possible poisoning arouses paranoia among the residents, who are divided between the fear of negligence by the bar and that of deliberate poisoning. An investigation is opened by the police, revealing the presence of a suspicious individual on the square. At the same time, disturbing elements involving Estelle and Djawad emerge…” .

Social topics covered from the first episodes

If the new version of More beautiful life will indeed be a new creation and not a simple sequel, TF1 wants to keep the DNA of the soap opera. In particular by continuing to address social issues that are in the news. The first episodes will thus address themes such as consent, menopause and even student insecurity.

Some new ones but above all a lot of old ones

Early fans can rest assured, they will find most of the emblematic faces of the series! Laurent Kérusoré (Thomas Marci), Sylvie Flepp (Mirta Torres), Cécilia Hornus (Blanche Marci), Anne Décis (Luna Torres), Stéphane Henon (Jean-Paul Boher), Léa François (Barbara Evenot) and Joakim Latzko (Gabriel Riva ) are in the casting. Just like Marie Hennerez (Léa Nebout), Marie Réache (Babeth Nebout), Jérôme Bertin (Patrick Nebout), Elisabeth Commelin (Yolande Sandré), Régis Meynard (Eric Norman), Lola Marois (Arianne Hersant), Ella Philippe (Nisma Bailly) , Tim Rousseau (Killian Corcel) and Val Duclaux (Jules Langlois). Missing is Marwan Berreni, whose tragic disappearance was very difficult to deal with for the entire cast.
