Plus belle la vie (spoilers): Emma and Kévin join forces against Camille and Boher falls under the spell of Prune

This Tuesday August 2 in Plus belle la vie (8:20 p.m., France 3), the investigation into the death of Alice Ruiz came to sow trouble within the couple of Camille and Kévin. During this time, Patrick and Jean-Paul literally put themselves on stage.

In the August 2 episode of Plus belle la vie, Kévin (Théo Bertrand) knocks on Emma’s (Pauline Bression) door and pulls her out of a restless sleep to tell her of his discovery: she was right, Camille (Lisa Cipriani) and Jacob (Christophe Morillon) are still in cahoots. Thanks to the video of the interrogation, he could see that the duo were making signs to communicate secretly. And according to these signs that he himself used with Camille, Kevin explains to Emma that his sister is afraid, and that she thanks Jacob – supposedly for denouncing himself in her place. While dropping by unexpectedly to see Camille, Kevin finds a diary to which he does not have the key. So he decides to organize a face to face between Camille and her sister under the pretext of wanting to reconcile them, but which is in fact an opportunity for Emma to grab the keys to the diary from her sister’s bag. Only when Kévin opens the famous diary, he finds above all memories of his relationship with Camille and pages on which his first name is scribbled everywhere with hearts…

Meanwhile, Prune announces to Patrick (Jérôme Bertin) and Jean-Paul (Stéphane Hénon) that they must redouble their efforts because another casting producer tries to play his talent in the movie by Jennifer Mitchum. The photographer therefore offers them, since they have the script, to directly shoot a scene from the film. It is in the middle of the police station that Boher and Nebout are trying on costumes, at a time when the prosecutor Revel (Grégory Questel) goes to see Jean-Paul. Following the latter’s lame explanations, Revel realizes that he is taken for a moron and leaves, furious. When they start rehearsing, the two colleagues find it difficult to get along, in particular because of Boher’s English accent. They agree, however, that Prune, when she arrives with a costume of an ancient woman, is splendid. To the point that, when they are spinning, Jean-Paul totally improvises, hits Patrick and monologues in front of Prune before kissing him… and being separated by Patrick shortly thereafter.

Has Baptiste solved the mystery of the arsonist?

Back at the police station, Patrick explains to Jean-Paul that seeing his son-in-law kissing a girl other than his own is strange, before asking him if they marital issues. Boher admits that it is not easy at the moment with Léa (Marie Hennerez), which makes Patrick say that it is therefore not the moment to add to it by kissing Prune… Sheepish, Jean-Paul promise it won’t happen again. For her part, Mirta (Sylvie Flepp) is disturbed by Akira’s conversation about death since her breast cancer diagnosis and decides, rather than going out with Yolande (Élisabeth Commelin), to go take a trip to the church. She confesses and finds hope again thanks to the words of Father Loïc, who himself does not hesitate to confide in Mirta about the young woman he was able to see again. After a beneficial exchange for both parties, Mirta leaves to join Yolande, her heart a little lighter. Finally Justine (Maelli Kervoelen) and Baptiste (Bryan Trésor) are always on the lookout for the local arsonist and, thanks to a new outbreak of fire, Baptiste spots a figure that comes up several times in the investigation, a pentagon that could tell them which place the criminal still intends to set fire to.
