Plus belle la vie (spoilers): Sylvia has doubts about Vanessa’s intentions

On August 23 in Plus belle la vie (France 3, 8:20 p.m.), Sylvia has doubts about Vanessa, Lola finds herself face to face with a wild wolf and Emma tries to win back Baptiste…

In the episode of More beautiful life from Monday August 23, 2022, Romain (Simon Ehrlacher) and Vanessa spent the night together at the Zéphyr. In the early morning, Vanessa offers Romain to leave together for a week. She would like him to visit a small family cabin and spend as much time with him as possible. Completely under the spell, Romain accepts. A little later, Sylvia (Roxane Turmel) goes to see him at the office to find out how his evening went. Romain says he had a good night but is worried. He still hasn’t talked about his illness with Vanessa and is afraid that it will ruin everything. Sylvia offers to tell him for her, but Romain prefers to confess himself. When she learns the truth, Vanessa admits to being touched and happy that Romain trusts her. She shares her love with him. A little later, while Romain is in the shower, Sylvia surprises Vanessa rummaging through her things. The young woman claims to need paracetamol, but Sylvia doubts her sincerity…

Upset by what happened to simon (Julien Ellenrieder), Éric (Régis Maynard) sets out to find the man who shot him. He goes to the police station and tries to connect to the databases, but the password has been changed. Ariane (Lola Marois) reminds him that he is no longer a police officer and that it is she who must lead the investigation. Summoned to Boher’s (Stéphane Hénon) office, Éric explains that Simon had two enemies: his ex, Marc Renkin, and his neighbor, Mallard, who has started blocking the water in the canal again. He specifies that Mallard is armed, and that things escalated a few days earlier. At Simon’s farm, Baptiste (Bryan Trésor) and Justine (Maelli Kervoelen) discover that gasoline-soaked rags have been thrown into the barn, confirming that the fire was intentional. They share their discovery with Ariane, who officially takes over the investigation.

Emma tries to win back Baptiste

After several days without news, Kilian (Tim Rousseau) receives a call from Lola (Marie Mallia). He criticizes his sister for not having called him sooner, especially since she had promised to give him news daily. Lola replies that she can’t hang on to her watch all the time, especially since she’s having a wonderful time alone. Kilian points out to her that it might be time for her to go home, but the teenager does not agree. She still needs a few days to recover. Before hanging up, she exchanges a few words with Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) and claims to have operated on a stray dog. Thomas, who has the feeling that Lola is doing better and better, is delighted. A little later, the teenager finds herself face to face with a wolf. She gives him a drink in her hand and the animal turns back…

At the Marci, Barbara (Léa François) sits down at Emma’s (Pauline Bression) table to apologize to her. She blames herself for having had an affair with Baptiste (Bryan Trésor) and for ruining their friendship. Emma is understanding. She knows that her relationship with Baptiste was far from perfect. Nevertheless, she is now determined to get her husband back, even if the competition is tough. Barbara encourages him to fight and Emma decides to send a message to Baptiste. She arranges to meet him at the place of his marriage proposal and admits to him that she wants to pick up the pieces with him…
