Xiaomi launches the Poco F5 and F5 Pro. We’ll tell you when the cell phones will be available, how much they cost and what they have to offer.
The Poco F-Series is known for powerful performance at an affordable price. The most recent model so far was the Poco F4, which will now be replaced by the 5th generation in May 2023. This consists of Poco F5 and F5 Pro.
Both phones have already appeared in China under different names. The Poco F5 is known as Redmi Note 12 Turbo, the Poco F5 Pro as Redmi K60.

When will the Poco F5 (Pro) be released?
You can buy both the Poco F5 and the Poco F5 Pro now. Both cell phones were listed in the shop at Xiaomi, among others, after their presentation on May 9th.
What will the Poco F5 (Pro) cost?
You can get the Poco F5 with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of data storage for 429 euros. With 12 gigabytes of RAM, it should cost 479 euros. The Pro version starts with 8 + 256 GB memory at 579.90 euros. Xiaomi is making you attractive early bird offers for both Poco F5 cell phones.

With the Poco F5 and F5 Pro, the manufacturer uses a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz. There are differences in the resolution. The basic variant only supports Full HD, while the Poco F5 Pro supports WQHD+.
processor and memory
Extremely powerful chips are used in both variants. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is at work in the Poco F5, and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the F5 Pro. They each achieve almost one million points in the AnTuTu test – an absolute top value for this price range.
The basic version can be upgraded to either 8 or 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage. The same applies to the Pro model, which is also available with 512 gigabytes of memory.

The Poco F5 Pro gets a downgrade compared to its Chinese sister model. The battery capacity should only be 5,160 mAh. The Remdi K60 comes with a 5,500 mAh battery. The Poco F5 has a 5,000 mAh battery installed. Both cell phones can be charged wirelessly with up to 67 watts. The Pro variant also supports wireless charging.
camera
The basic model has three cameras on the back. The main sensor then has a resolution of 64 megapixels. The Pro model also uses a triple camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor. But it is more powerful and supports 8K videos, for example.
