When will the Poco F6 Pro be released?

An official announcement has not yet been made. However, according to Gizchina, the Poco F6 Pro has been spotted for certification on the website of Thailand’s government regulator. This suggests that a timely release could be imminent, as smartphones certified by the regulatory authority in question have already been released next month or after two months. A possible release period would therefore be April or May 2024.

How much will the Poco F6 Pro cost?

There is no concrete information about the price of the mid-range cell phone yet. Until the reveal, we expect it to be at a similar price point to its predecessor. The Poco F5 Pro was available at market launch for just under 530 euros.

This is what you could expect with the Poco F6 Pro

It was already speculated in advance that the Poco F6 Pro could be a rebranding of the Redmi K70, which is only available exclusively in China. According to Gsmarena, it could actually be a Redmi K70 variant for global release, as the Poco F6 Pro is listed for certification on the website of the state regulator of Thailand under the model number “23113RKC6G”. The model number of Redmi K70 is “23113RKC6C”.

So if the Poco F6 Pro is actually a Redmi K70 variant, according to Gsmarena, it will most likely have the same technical specifications as its Chinese counterpart. As a result, it would come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm under the hood, up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage as well as a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There should also be a fingerprint sensor under the display.

The display is said to have a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and support Dolby Vision. A 5,000 milliamp hour battery that supports 120 watts of wired charging will provide the necessary energy. Pictures and videos can be taken using the three cameras on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera as well as a 16-megapixel front camera.

Note: This constantly updated article is based on leaks, analyst statements, internal editorial assessments and rumors, the truth of which is difficult for us to verify from a distance. Until the Poco F6 Pro is formally presented, you should view the information with a certain degree of skepticism.
