During its conference at MWC 2022, POCO by Xiaomi presented two new smartphones
of which only one was really unknown to us: the POCO X4 Pro 5G, a rather convincing flagship at less than 350 euros.

Let’s not make the suspense last, and let’s immediately specify that the “new” POCO M4 Pro presented this February 28 alongside the POCO X4 Pro 5G is only the 4G version of the excellent POCO M4 Pro 5G that we tested at the end from last year, with an AMOLED display.

POCO X4 Pro 5G: a beautiful AMOLED FHD + 120 Hz screen

For the design, the Chinese manufacturer has not broken its head and has taken over the look of the POCO M4 Pro, which itself resembled the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 . But it must be admitted that the whole makes it possible to recognize the brand at a glance!

Much larger, the smartphone offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a contrast ratio of 4,500,000:1. Finally, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Note that the smartphone will run on MIUI 13 for POCO and that, if it is available in a 128 or 256 GB version of storage memory, it will be possible to extend this memory space by 1 TB.

Two full days of battery life

Despite its size, the POCO X4 Pro 5G does not feel like a brick in the hand since it is thinner and lighter than the POCO X3 Pro. Thus, it measures 164.19 mm in height and 76.1 mm wide, for 8.12 mm thick. And the whole thing weighs 205 grams.

Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 5G SoC coupled with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, it has an imposing 5,000 mAh battery capable of offering a full two days of autonomy.

This battery is compatible with 67 W fast charging. Thus, it is possible to go from 0 to 70% charge in 20 minutes, and to obtain a full charge in 41 minutes.

Moreover, this element is designed so that you only have one charger to keep, which will efficiently charge all your devices, from your smartphone to your laptop, including your wireless headphones and your connected watch. .

A main sensor of 108 Mpx

The photo module on the back of the device has three classic sensors on entry-level smartphones. A 108MP (f/1.9) main sensor incorporates pixel binning technology to capture brighter 12MP photos.

It is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra wide angle sensor (f / 2.2) and a 2 MP macro sensor (f / 2.4). On the front, the POCO X4 Pro has a 16MP (f/2.4) selfie sensor. Among the video modes offered, we find the classic time-lapse, slow motion, filters and kaleidoscope.
