In India you can already buy the Poco M6 Pro from an online retailer. However, it is still unclear when the smartphone will appear in Germany. The manufacturer also offers the Poco M5 series. So there is also hope that we will get the cell phone at a later date.

Depending on the memory configuration, the predecessors ranged from 189.90 euros to 229.90 euros. We assume that the Poco M6 Pro will also be available for under 300 euros.

The next question, of course, is: What do you get for your money? There is some preliminary information about this. At least in India, according to Gizmochina, the Poco M6 Pro 5G is only a slightly different design Redmi Note 12R.
You get the smartphone with a large camera island with Poco lettering in Forest Green and Power Black that is clearly distinguishable from the rest of the housing. It is also protected against some dust and spray water according to IP53. In addition to the appearance, the Indian online retailer Flipkart also informs you about the inner values of the Poco M6 Pro 5G.
- Display: The 6.79-inch display has a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hertz.
- Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. This has eight cores that run at a clock frequency of 2.2 gigahertz or 2.0 gigahertz.
- Camera: On the back there is a 50-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor that supports up to tenx digital zoom. The front camera has 8 megapixel front camera
- Battery pack: The battery has a capacity of 5,000 milliamp hours and supports 18 watt fast charging.
- Connectivity: In addition to 5G, the Poco M6 can also support LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi. You have to do without NFC.
The Poco M6 5G comes in two different storage configurations. With 4 gigabytes of RAM, customers get 64 gigabytes of internal storage. There is also a version with 6 gigabytes of RAM, which includes 128 gigabytes of data storage.
It is also possible to increase the amount of RAM with virtual RAM. This function is called Turbo RAM and gives you up to six additional gigabytes of RAM in the highest memory variant. The data storage can be expanded by a maximum of one terabyte.
You can unlock the smartphone with a fingerprint scanner. There is also an IR blaster installed that you could use to control your television, for example. You may need an app for this.
