[Podcast] Are social networks the enemy of feminism?

[En partenariat avec Numerama] In this new episode of Brave New World, on France Culture, François Saltiel received three guests to talk about the complicated links between feminism and social networks.

It is on social networks that the #MeToo and #BalanceTonPorc movements have emerged, which have contributed to advancing the voice of women on sexual and gender-based violence. But it is also on social networks that women and feminist activists are regularly cyberharassed.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok… Are these platforms enemies or friends of contemporary feminism? What does it mean to be an online feminist activist in 2022?

It is this discussion that animated the guests in this new episode of Brave New World, Numerama’s partner program on France Culture. This program is available as a podcast on listening platforms — Deezer, Spotify, Apple — as well as on the France Culture website..
