Adapted from the work of JRR Tolkien, set several thousand years before the events described in The Lord of the Rings, the event series The Rings of Power is finally launched!
While the first two episodes were unveiled yesterday on Amazon Prime Video, we watched them carefully, before debriefing them.
On the menu of our podcast dedicated to these first two episodes of the Rings of Power: our favorites, our reservations, our expectations, our favorite characters and our different theories on the rest of the series.
Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows a cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the dreaded re-emergence of evil in Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the Elven capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking isle kingdom of Númenor, and to the farthest reaches of the world, these kingdoms and characters will build legends that will continue to exist long after their death.
